There is a short thread about this in the archive of this mailing list

I have not researched on the Comet Circumflex system since. My present
research is on a structurally simpler system with no parameters in the
sentences. Since that time I have learned how to make fonts (at a
hobbyist level, not at expert level) and I have been able to design
symbols and make and apply a font that includes those symbols.
