The ʊ definitely doesn't belong. When saying "neography" I'm not
completely including the name of Neo from the Matrix.

It is, to me, exactly the same as "geography", except for that very
first letter. All vowel sounds match perfectly between the two words,
and I would expect that to be true no matter how your local accent
affects those vowels.
