Hello,
I'm sorry but I'm still having problems with these errors. I've seen that they all appeared because Roozbeh Pournader from Facebook approved just some of the items of that group while leaving the others unconfirmed. I've tried to contact him by sending him an email to ask him why but I didn't get a response. Is this going to be a problem later? Is the new language data going to be published anyway, or should I do something before the vetting phase is closed? I've asked the other Sardinian translators to vote for the items with a lower status, but nothing changed.

Hi All,

I'm writing to ask about the status of CLDR-11510 [1], the issue about
the first day of the week in China. The issue was opened back in
January. I added some information on the national standard in June,
but haven't got an update after that. I also tried to create a PR on
github [2], but there seems to be an issue with the status of the JIRA
issue.

I'd like to push this forward, since it blocks a bug report of the
glibc downstream [3]. Please advise. Thanks!

id.xml has a localeDisplayNames:

<language type="id">Indonesia</language>

Now I can sympathise with the idea of having to put Bahasa before every entry in that list. But I am assuming that the official name of the Indonesian language in Indonesian is "Bahasa Indonesia". I think it's beyond most software to infer that they need to stick "Bahasa" before a language name when translating into Indonesian.

Thoughts?

The problem was the rotating circle in the main pane.  I assumed it was
trying to do something that I should wait for.

It's a pleasure to be treated as a human being, rather than as a
robot.  LDML spec fault now reported.

Is there a tie-break rule for competing reorder elements?

For example, suppose the applicable reorders element is:

Are the primary weights for "abc" <10, 10, 20> or <10, 20, 20>, or
something else, and why?

Am I correct to assume that in general the sorting is not a
Unicode-compliant process?  In particular, is string matching a
comparison of mere codepoint strings or of equivalence classes under
canonical equivalence?

Are the literal values of the 'from' attribute to be immune to
replacement by canonically equivalent strings?

Is sorting applied at every input operation, or can the system delay
until a suitable point?

Having sorted that characters, is the sorting algorithm reapplied based
on the new orders?  Compulsorily?  Optionally?

I can imagine a set of rules that would cause some strings to be
rearranged whenever the sorting process is applied.

I've seen suggestion that the 'before' and 'after' values can be
regular expressions.  Is this merely an unofficial shorthand
that defines a finite 'language', i.e. a finite set of strings?
