What to do with the symbol from the currency pattern? Ignore/Drop it? Or
we'd have "¤69,900 US dollars".

Actually, I wasn't sure if it was:
- Min and max (e.g., f(1) = "$1.00", f(1.123) = "$1.12"), or
- Max only (e.g., f(1) = "$1", f(1.123) = "$1.12").
